Bellydance? Do you? Do you want to? I bet you do! Bellydance is as ancient as man and woman . From an early age, we all like to move, put the music on and you know you can't help but tap your feet. I discovered bellydance "later in life" and realized it tied together my core belief in Spirituality and the Movement of the human body. It was the perfect fit. After a crash course studying with many (see below) instructors over a 4 year period,  I have been dancing now for almost 9 years. I embarked on the Bellydance Instructor journey as well, almost 4 years ago. I have certifications in teaching Aerobics and Seniors, and taught areobics and body movement many times over the last 30 years, I could not help but wonder what took me so long to dance? Suhaila is probably one of the most famous names in American Bellydance. Her mother Jamila is credited with bringing modern bellydance to California in the Early days of the 1960's to 1970's. Many older Bellydancers today remember studying with Jamila, and many young bellydancers today would like to study with Suhaila.
